For the record, my Dry-Jan is going better than Hampton’s – but that first day was a killer!

This is my final post of 2024. I am DONE! I will be taking a break until mid Jan. My next comic will be published on 17/01/2025. Everyone, enjoy the holidays, the cultural & capitalistic appropriation of the Winter Solstice. Drink apartheid approved diabetes drinks as advertised by a corporate resurrection of a dead saint. Watch mindless junk reinforcing some kind of imagined version of this holiday season that doesn’t exist. Listen to earsplittingly awful music (except for the censored or uncensored Pogues song, which is undeniably awesome). Celebrate as millions upon millions of animals are slaughtered for a single day’s meal; living, sentient beings who had their lives cut short, who had dreams & friends & felt fear, whose lives mattered. Don’t forget to buy buy buy & don’t you dare be unhappy! Remember that the ‘Christ’ in Christmas, be he god or more likely MORTAL, was based on somone real, someone who was born in Bethlehem, in the occupied West Bank.
